Bulldog provides residential curbside pickup to our residents on a weekly schedule. Each resident has been issued a black trash cart(s) which has a serial number registered to the home address. Bulldog has asked for all residents to have their trash out by 6 a.m. on the day of their pick up. For those homebound residents, please call the Mayor’s Office to request a designated place for pick up. White goods shall be picked up by Bulldog at the end of each pickup day to be taken to the recycler. Wood pieces and such need to be three foot in length for pick up Containers for recyclable materials are located at the old Glove Factory. Materials to be recycled are as follows: Newsprint, plastic milk and soft drink bottles, aluminum and steel cans.

Yard waste, brush, etc., will be picked up by the City of Metropolis according to wards. Ward 1 – Monday, Ward 2 – Tuesday, Ward 3- Wednesday, Ward 4 – Thursday.
